Educational Outreach

The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner’s community outreach program was created to raise awareness of the police complaint process. The OPCC delivers a number of educational presentations each year to non-profit and other community organizations, academic institutions, and other agencies. The OPCC will continue to create and maintain relationships with organizations with an interest in the police complaints process and policing agencies to strengthen public and police confidence in our office and our role in providing impartial civilian oversight of complaints involving municipal police.
