Educational Outreach

The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner’s community outreach program was created to raise awareness of the police complaint process. The OPCC delivers a number of educational presentations each year to special interest groups, academic institutions, and other organizations. The OPCC will continue to create and maintain relationships with organizations with an interest in the police complaints process and policing agencies to strengthen public and police confidence in our office and our role in providing impartial civilian oversight of complaints involving municipal police.

Send us a request for outreach and education presentation, and we will make every effort to create an opportunity in your area. Please direct your request to Outreach at info@opcc.bc.ca.
