Victoria – The Public Hearing into the circumstances involving Sergeant Ron Kirkwood of the Victoria Police Department following the death of Ms. Lisa Rauch in 2019 will reconvene on Thursday, May 8, 2025. It is expected that retired B.C. Judge Wally Oppal, Adjudicator for this Public Hearing, will deliver his ruling. The hearing is scheduled to take place at 10:00 am - 947 Fort St., Victoria, BC, second floor.

Victoria– A public hearing into sexualized misconduct allegations against Sergeant Keiron McConnell will begin on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the Coroners Court located at Metrotower II Suite 800-4720 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC, and continue until April 10. If needed, the hearing will continue for the weeks of April 29 to May 2 and May 5 to 8, commencing at 9:30 a.m., at UBC Robson Square, 800 Robson Street, Room C215.

Victoria – The Police Complaint Commissioner has called a public hearing into the conduct of seven Vancouver Police officers and the subsequent death of Myles Gray on August 13, 2015. Myles Gray died after police responded to a 911 call and used significant force to subdue and restrain him. The public hearing will determine whether police committed any misconduct.
